What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

  • Hello bullet points

Let's face it, we all want to be more productive and get more done in less time. But despite the insane amount of productivity apps on the market, it's still difficult to complete all of our tasks in a single day — even if we work overtime and burn the midnight oil.

What's the solution? Do we just accept that our to-do list will never be finished and we'll always have the gnawing feeling in our gut that we're behind and about to be fired? Definitely not!

Today, I want to share with you how to pay $560 to get a week of your life back. That's right, I can teach you how to trade just $560 and get 40 hours injected back into your life. Does it sound too good to be true? It's not. Keep reading to find out how I do it and how you can do it too.

For a small fee, I can get an entire week's worth of my life back.

Our Most Valuable Resource

Let's get real for a second and talk about our most valuable resource as business professionals. It doesn't matter who you are, where you live, or what you do, this resource trumps all others.

I'm not talking about money, though I'm always happy to have more of it…

I'm not talking about the team around me, even though I'm incredibly grateful for their efforts…

I'm not even talking about the inherent values my parents instilled in me as a small child, though a strong work ethic and a willingness to keep learning have served me quite well over the years.

Our most valuable resource — yes, yours and mine — is our time because it's the one thing we can't get back or make more of. Once it's gone, it's gone. Depressing? A little. Necessary information? 100 percent! Now you can truly understand why I value productivity.

The Ultimate Time Management Solution

time - most valuable resource
Time is our most valuable resource.

So, you're probably thinking, "Enough already! Just tell me how you pay $560 to get a week of your life back!" Alright, alright — here it goes:

To ensure I use my time as wisely as possible, I invest in business task outsourcing, also known as business process outsourcing or BPO. This allows me to delegate mundane work to outside contractors for a small fee. In return, I regain a huge portion on my day.

And I'm not the only one doing it. This kind of task delegation has been around for over a century but has recently started to explode in popularity. In fact, every kind of company, from scrappy startups to Fortune 500 powerhouses is getting in on the trend.

In the next section, I'll talk more about why I specifically outsource menial work-related tasks.

Why I Outsource Work

outsourcing work
There are three main reasons why I outsource work.

Depending on your current relationship with delegation, you're either confused, intrigued, or appalled to learn that business task outsourcing is the big secret behind my productivity.

You're confused if you don't understand what it is, intrigued if you've considered using these kinds of services in the past, and appalled if you once tried to outsource business tasks but partnered with a subpar vendor, hated the process, and vowed never to outsource work again.

If you're confused, I'm here to help:

Business process outsourcing (BPO) is the practice of outsourcing work to other companies. These processes may include payroll and accounting duties, lead generation activities, customer support work, and more. In general, only secondary initiatives are outsource, while core business functions are still handled in-house.

If you're intrigued and/or appalled, let me tell you the three main reasons why I've begun to outsource simple business tasks (and why I think you should too!)

1. Focus on Core Business Propositions

By outsourcing menial tasks like the scheduling of meetings and sales lead generation, I can concentrate on my core business propositions, i.e. the things that actually bring in revenue.

Imagine being able to focus 100% of your time on the things that really matter without neglecting the necessary but mundane tasks that any low-wage worker can perform. Think about how much more you'll be able to get done without putting in more hours at the office.

Now you're starting to see the beauty of business task outsourcing! But there are two more benefits I want to highlight...

2. I Save Myself Loads of Money

That's right, I'm telling you that BPO helps me focus on the things in my business that matter, get more done in less time, and save money. You'd think that my increased levels of productivity would come at a steep cost, right? Wrong.

Business process outsourcing helps me keep more green in my pocket because, as a highly-trained professional, my time is valuable and my $50 an hour skill set shouldn't be wasted on basic tasks. By outsourcing secondary activities to talented workers in developing countries via outsourcing, I can get them done for about $14 an hour. That's a $36 an hour savings!

Even if I hired a full-time assistant, I'd likely have to pay more than $14 an hour as minimum wage in many areas is now $15 an hour. Plus, I'd have to spring for insurance, bonuses, extra office space, and more.

3. I Can Keep My Business Cat-Like and Agile

Lastly, outsourcing allows me to stay agile, like a cat. I don't have to worry nearly as much about outdated tasks and bad economies. Why? Let's say a business task that I've outsourced suddenly becomes irrelevant. Rather than laying off workers or finding new jobs for them to do, I simply terminate my relationship with my vendor. See? Agile, like a cat!

What about bad economies? Because I save so much money by outsourcing simple business tasks, I'll be in a much better position when things tank because I'll have less bills and more savings. See? Agile, like a cat!

How I Use Outsourcing to Succeed

As I mentioned before, outsourcing services can be used for a myriad of different tasks. But here's how I use them to get more done in less time and for less money:

  1. First, I partnered with Invisible Technologies to handle all of my outsourcing duties which include general business tasks like scheduling meetings and travel accommodations, and sales lead generation activities.
  1. I then showed the Invisible team my internal business processes for handling these kinds of tasks and they built optimized systems using their advanced technology and network of low-wage workers from developing countries to complete them.
  1. Now, I simply delegate tasks every month and Invisible sends me the deliverables. For example, I might say, "Get me 500 new leads by next Friday!" And guess what, by next friday I have 500 new leads waiting for me, like magic.
  1. Invisible also has a great feature called the Client Dashboard which allows me to check in on their team's progress with my tasks. I can always see how close my tasks are to completion and how long it's taking them to be completed.

You can use Invisible Tech like I do. Or you can use one of the many other outsourcing companies out there. Whichever route you choose, here's how I suggest you go about it:

How You Can Outsource Work Too

You can take advantage of business task outsourcing just like me. All you have to do is follow the simple 4-step system I've outlined below:

  1. Decide which business tasks you want to outsource. Are you tired of lead generation? Do you have a pile of applications to sift through? Maybe you just need someone to schedule meetings and book flights for you. There are vendors out there that will handle these tasks for you. You just have to decide which ones you need/want help with.
  1. Once you know what tasks you'll be delegating, you can look for vendors that specialize in those areas. Some companies only handle certain tasks. Others are one-stop shops for every kind of outsourcing need. Do your research, read reviews, and find a quality company that you'll feel comfortable partnering with on a long-term basis.
  1. Next, take an honest look at your budget. How much can you afford to pay for outsourcing services each month? Remember, when done right, outsourcing will actually save you money because you (and your team) won't have to spend your valuable time on menial tasks. But that doesn't mean you can start outsourcing willy nilly. Find the perfect balance between cost and return for your business.
  1. Lastly, approach the vendors that have proven they can handle the tasks you need to outsource and fit your budget and strike up a working relationship with them. Then monitor your results. Are you happy with the way they're performing? Are you able to focus on your core business initiatives and get more important work done each day? If the answer to these questions is "yes," congratulations! If it's "no," then you may need to find a new outsourcing company to work.

Pretty simple, right? If you follow this easy four-step system, you'll be able to start taking advantage of work outsourcing and assess whether it's right for your company or not.

Outsourceable Tasks

Almost any task can be outsourced, but some are better suited for it than others.

Just about any task, both client and non-client facing, can be outsourced. Here are a few of them that you might want to get off your plate.

Startup Business Operations

Startups are notorious for being cash-strapped. It's not their fault, they just haven't been in business long enough to generate consistent cash flow. But if they ever hope to, they need to be able to perform basic business operations on the cheap.

Enter business task outsourcing. By partnering with an Ops As a Service vendor, startups can get the quality help they need without breaking the bank. Anything from building a B2B sales pipeline to onboarding new talent falls into this category.

On-Demand Team Members

Whether you run a single department or an entire company, you know that finding quality workers when you need them can be a hassle. But by outsourcing business tasks to trained professionals, you need never worry about this challenge again.

Find a vendor to provide you with an on-demand, contingent workforce and quickly bolster your sales team's lead gen efforts, your HR department's hiring process, or your assistant's data entry activities.

Custom Niche Processes

What if you need help with custom processes? You know, the kind that you and your team invented but no longer can or want to handle in house? There are companies out there that would be happy to learn your workflows and complete them for you.

Let's say that your company needs to regularly process hundreds of receipts in order to grant rebates to customers. This isn't what I'd call a "standard business process."

By working with a vendor who provides custom business process automation, you'll be able to get all of youundefinedr receipts processed and hours of your day back for a small fee. It's not just receipts, though. This same idea can be applied to almost any kind of individualized business task.
